Ennis Town 0- 4 Bridge United

Bridge United travelled to Lees Rd on Sunday morning and recorded a comfortable 4 nil win over Ennis Town.

The visitors spurned a great chance inside the opening minute when Mike McNamara could only find the side netting from an Eoghan Pewter cross.

The Bridge United front man soon atoned for his earlier miss on 17mins when he raced clear and tucked the ball under the advancing Ethan Kelly.

United doubled their lead when an overlapping Christy Griffin squared to Pewter to fire to the net from 8yards.

With 35mins on the clock came the goal of the game, methodical build up involving numerous Bridge players saw some neat interplay between McNamara and Trevor  Maxwell released Johnny Okoro who rounded the goalkeeper to make the game 3 nil at half time.

After the break Derek Fahy saw an attempt narrowly go left and wide after beating serveral players on a mazy run and shot.

Eoghan Pewter wrapped up the scoring in the second half when McNamara cut in from the left before cooly laying off to the wide man to double his tally and round off an impressive away performance.
