New Sponsorship

Bridge United AFC are proud to announce the continued support and sponsorship from McGregors Bar and Bistro, Sixmilebridge. The club has a  long standing relationship with the local business which is now under the ownership of James & Siobhan Healy.

The venue has recently hosted a number of club events as well as very generously sponsoring a new set of jerseys.

We thank them for their ongoing support and wish them every continued success.

Clare Youths 

Congrats to Christy Carey,  Jordan Downes,  Lee Wall,  Cian O'Rourke and Conor Hassett who have made the Clare Youths panel for this year's opening game v Limerick which takes place this Friday October 28th. 

Further congrats to Lee Wall who represented Munster in last weekends inter provincial tournament.  

Poker Classic 

The Greyhound Bar will be the venue for this years fundraising poker classic which takes place on November 26th.

Tickets are €20 and are available from any club member.  

Great year for underage club

As our underage teams wrap up the seasons we can look back and acknowledge some great progress. 

Our Under 14 Girls team achieved an unprecedented club double winning their league and cup. 

Our Under 14 boys team were league runners up but won the Clare shield and our Under 13 team were league winners also. 

There is also great work and progress with our Under 8s, 10s and 12s with panels now winding down for the winter following 6 months of training and matches. 

We have also just wrapped up our mini kickers programme which hopefully resume again in Sixmilebridge in March / April 2017.

Huge thanks to all our hard working coaches,  our well travelled parents / guardians and all our great kids. 

Special thanks also to Bunratty Cratloe FC who have been our very helpful hosts for the past 18 months.
