There's a busy weekend in store for Bridge United with no less than 8 teams in competitive action.
First up we preview our U11s Girls who are in the Cup Final where they take on Coole FC at Frank Healy Park. These girls have been training hard all season and have been producing some outstanding displays on their run to the final.
The U12 Girls are in the Shield Final with Tulla United providing the opposition on this occasion, also at Frank Healy Park. A very talented squad has been assembled this season.
Last but by no means least, is the turn of our U14 Girls when they face St. Pats for the honour of the U14 Shield. A great game is promised between these two sides.
Elsewhere it's that time of the year again with Boys National Cup kicking off with our U12 and U14 Boys in action, both opposing teams hail from the same neck of the woods, with our U12s facing Lough Derg FC and U14s, fresh off the back of their recent cup win, facing off with Bridge Celtic.
In Junior action, our U17s kick off their league campaign when they travel to Riverside to take on Shannon Hibernians, they'll be looking to take the first 3 points on offer this season and emulating their Youth team counterparts from last weekend.
Sunday sees the opening round of this year's FAI Junior Cup. Killarney Athletic will travel to Shannon Road in search of a victory. Mark Culbert's charges have been in good form this season so far and will look to extend their unbeaten start again here.
Finally our B Team begin their First Division League with a trip to Kilmaley, with Connolly Celtic the opposition. Darren Keanes men will be looking to build on their recent run of good displays and take home the points Sunday morning.
