Bridge United Schoolboys are coming towards the business end of the 2022 Season.

So let's take a little recap on where we are to date and what's coming just around the corner.

U11 Boys (2011s)
The first competitive silverware up for grabs at schoolboys level is the U11 Boys Cup. This adopts the u12 format of 9v9 on a box to box sized pitch. We currently have 2 teams left in the competition who have drawn eachother in the Quarter Finals next week. We also have a squad of boys still in the u11 Shield competition. There is no league tables kept at this age group.

U12 Boys (2010s)
Similar to the u11 age group, u12 Boys don't keep a league table. We have entered 2 teams at this age group and both have competed very strongly. We currently are awaiting the challenge of Tulla Utd in the U12 Cup whilst our second team are in Shield action v Shannon Town.

U13 Boys (2009s)
This is the first age group that plays on a full sized pitch with full sized goals and is 11v11. It's daunting coming from the comfort of smaller goals to adult sized proportions. We have 2 teams again at this age group, our first team sit second in their league with just one game remaining, if they win their last game they have a chance of securing the league title. They are also in the semi final of the u13 Cup. Our second team is made up of u11s and u12s and have acquitted themselves well against teams much bigger and older. They've acquired some much needed experience and many admirers along the way. They also remain in the hunt for silverware at u13 Shield.

U14 Boys (2008s)
The u14 Boys are on the brink of capturing their second league title on the bounce. Victory over rivals Avenue United on Thursday next will leave them with successive league trophies. They are also in a u14 Cup semi final. A potential double is a realistic target for this bunch.

U15 Boys (2007s)
After a poor start to the league campaign this group are now right back in the hunt for a league title. With 4 games to go they know destiny is in their own hands but with some difficult games ahead it won't be an easy task. They too are in a Cup Semi Final away to Tulla United.

U16 Boys (2006s)
This group of boys brought great excitement to our club with their run to the Nationa Cup Quarter Final and susubsequent Munster Final. Their league campaign was blighted by bad luck and finished runners up to a strong Avenue United. They find themselves in a Cup Semi Final v Mountshannon Celtic next week and will hope to have another crack at Avenue in the final. Our second team have been making huge progress of late and are steadily picking up points in their league completion, a great draw with Shannon Hibs a highlight.
