Shannon Olympic 0-5 Bridge United A

3 goals in a 5 minute period towards the end of the first half laid the foundations for a great vctory for our A Team today.

Kieran Quinlan opened our account on 30mins when he stuck home a penalty after being taken down in the Olympic box.

2mins later, Leon Daly curled a wonderful free kick in to the net to double the lead before Jason Loughnane found himself in the box to strike home a third on 35mins.

Into the second half and Brian Corry added a 4th on 50mins before doubling his tally with another cool finish on 72mins.

A fantastic result for our A Team and further pushes them up the table. There's a busy period ahead with a tough round of fixtures fixed for midweek when Sporting Ennistymon and Avenue make trips to Shannon Road. Sandwiched between these next Sunday is a home league tie with Mountshannon Celtic.

Paul Touhy, Dan Larkin, Darren Murphy, Alan Mulready, Jason Loughnane, Jonathan Downes, Liam Buckley, Leon Kelly, Leon Daly, Brian Corry, Kieran Quinlan.

Stephen Stewart for Downes
Mikey Carr for Loughnane
Alex Collins for Kelly
Conor Deasy for Buckley
Brandon O'Halloran for Daly
