A 5 star performance from our U16s away to Nenagh today secures our passage to the Regions Semi Final. That tie will be played at home to Tralee's St Brendans Park.

A ruthless performance from the off today as Darragh Hayes finished well on 8mins to set us on our way. It was that man again on 18mins, this time lifting the ball deftly over the advancing Nenagh stopper to double our advantage.

Jack O Halloran was unlucky to see his effort moments later come crashing off the post, before Nenagh scrambled the ball away for a corner. The reprieve was shortlived as Matthew O’Halloran rose highest to nod home a Marcus Joyce delivery.

Ben Maxwell was next to try his luck we he got on the end of a Darragh Hayes flick on, his shot clearing the crossbar.

Half Time saw two changes as the Bridge sought to freshen things up, Niall Moloney and Reece Kirkland replacing Niall Liddane and goal scorer Matthew O’Halloran.

The second half was just 4mins old when a pinpoint Mike Morey pass found it way to Hayes, this time a faint dummy, cut back on to his right boot before curling a great shot in to the far top corner. Hatrick in the bag.

The introduction of Niall Moloney was causing havoc, the pacy front man was tormenting the Nenagh defence with his direct running.

The performances of Ben Maxwell and Callum Phelan were a feature of Bridge's play today and it was the latter who put in a great cross on 51mins only to see both Jack O'Halloran and Niall Moloney go agonisingly close to getting a final touch.

Indeed it was fitting that Niall Moloney got the 5th and final goal when he followed up on a loose clearance and tapped the ball home.

A thoroughly professional display, our defence on top through out, a midfield that controlled the tempo and a forward unit that Nenagh had no answers for.
