SFAI U16 South West Region 1/4 Final
Nenagh AFC v Bridge United
Brickfields 2pm
In recent years, the SFAI have introduced a Regions Cup. This is played among the top 8 teams from each region.
The South West region is made of up teams from Clare's CSSL, Limerick County, Limerick District and Limerick Desmond, aswell as Kerry Schoolboys League and NTDSL, Tipperary North.
Bridge United will face off against Nenagh AFC. Nenagh exited the National Cup at the Round of 32, going down narrowly to a strong St Brendans Park side from Tralee.
They currently sit on pole position in NTDSL u16 league table with a very impressive 7 wins from 7. This will once again be a huge challenge to our lads facing such a prestigious side.
Manager Pa O Halloran will unfortunately be without the services of Darragh Whyte and Oscar Palka for Saturday's game.
He can however welcome back Oscar Wrixon Todd, who recently rejoined the club after a stint with League Of Ireland side Treaty United.
With next weekend's National Cup 1/4 on the horizon this game will prove to be the perfect preparation for the boys from Sixmilebridge.
The game kicks off on 2pm, we will have live updates from the game for those unable to travel.
