All to play for in the coming weeks for all our squads as we compete for Clare cups & shields as well as preparing for National Cup competitions.

U11 Boys

Following a thrilling 3-2 victory over neighbours Bunratty Cratloe last Thursday our U11 Red team (pictured) face St Pats in the Cup quarter final this evening in Sixmilebridge. Two goals from Sean Moloney and another from TJ Finnin was enough to edge past Bunratty. Our U11 Black team were defeated by a strong Tulla side in the cup competition and will now face Shannon Hibs in the Shield competition.

U13 Boys

Our A team were crowned League champions last Saturday with a very impressive 7-2 victory over Avenue in the league decider. A brilliant hattrick from Patrick Lonergan and goals from Donal O’Leary, Devin Downes, Jack O’Halloran and Zak Phelan was enough on the day to seal the league title. That victory was backed up with a convincing win over Newmarket in the cup quarter final on Tuesday night. Goals scored by Patrick Lonergan (2), Donal O’Leary (2), Luke Deegan (2), Killian Slater, Conor Gleeson and Lochlainn Collins. That sets up a rematch with Avenue in Sixmilebridge this Saturday in the semi final.

Our U13 B team welcome Lifford to Sixmilebridge on Saturday week in the Division 3 cup Quarter final.

U13 Girls

Following a great league campaign where the girls were just 1 win away from taking the Division 2 title our girls came up against a brilliant Connolly Celtic side in the first round of the cup. Unfortunately the Division 1 champions were too strong on the evening but our girls look forward to the shield campaign where they will face Hermitage in the quarter final. Best Wishes also to Orla Cahill who will be part of the Clare squad kicking off their Gaynor cup campaign this week.

U14 Boys

Our U14 team are well in the mix for league honours with the title still in their own hands. With three games remaining 9 points would secure the title in an extremely tight division. Games remaining are Tulla United who we play on Thursday, Shannon Hibs on Sunday and Bunratty Cratloe in Sixmilebridge next Thursday. Our Cup campaign kicks off on Sunday week away to Tulla United.

U15 Boys

Having narrowly missed out on the league title our U15 Boys team welcome league champions Shannon Town to Sixmilebridge on Saturday. Game is guaranteed to be a tight well contested one and kickoff is 2pm.

Our U15 B team were unlucky to be knowcked out of the Division 3 Cup last weekend when they went down 2-1 to Corofin with Daniel Murphy Black scoring. All at the club would like to wish Harry Chaplin a speedy recovery from injury picked up in this game.
