Almost four years to the day after the official opening of our new pitches and clubhouse, another major step was taken in the Club’s development with construction works recently commencing on a new Floodlit Astro Turf Training Pitch and Astro Running / Sprint Track. Premier Pitches have been appointed to complete this phase of works and it is anticipated that these facilities will be open for use in September / October 2021.
This exciting milestone for the Club and community follows years of planning and fundraising efforts. We are very grateful for the support we have received along the way from all our volunteers and supporters. Works also planned for completion as part of our Phase 2 Development Plan include floodlighting to the main playing pitch and completion of the carpark and boundary works. Whilst these particular works are not yet ready for commencement we do hope to continue with our development as soon as appropriate funding is in place.
