West Clare FC 1 Bridge United B 2

Bridge Utd B secured the Second Division Title with a hard earned victory away to West Clare this morning.

The visitors fell behind to a strike from just inside the half way line which dipped under the crossbar and caught Deasy off his line on 7mins.

Donald Devanney was very unlucky not to level matters with a great header from a corner kick but the home keeper produced a great save.

In the second half the Bridge picked up the tempo and played much the better football.  A great run by Eric Carr going past two defenders before crossing for John Keogh to score in the 67th minute led to a frantic ending with the Bridge seeking a goal to clinch the title.

Ten minutes later John Keogh turned provider as he put Keiran Quinlan through and he rounded the keeper to score leading to great celebrations.

Huge congratulations to Management team of JimMaxwell and Ian Fawl and to all their players.
