Following the recent return to play guidelines set out by the FAI, the CDSL have subsequently released the next round of fixtures for the various league campaigns.
All going well, this will see a much anticipated return to competitive fixtures for both our Men’s A-team & B-team squads.
Saturday July 18th is the date for Anton Mannering and his A team squad to return to action when they make the short trip to Shannon to take on Shannon Hibs in Riverside Park in a 7pm kick off.
This will be followed up by their second fixture in 5 days when they welcome Newmarket Celtics A-team to The Bridge. The teams played out a 0 – 0 draw in August.
For Darren Brown and his B-team squad, they see a welcome return to familiar settings of The Bridge after a string of away games before the enforced break. They welcome Manus Celtic’s A Team to Shannon Road on Sunday July 19th for an 11am kick off.
5 days later, the B-team are in action again when Kilkishen make the trip in to The Bridge for a 7pm kick off. The 2 teams have already played twice this season across cup and league competitions and have won 1 game each so this promises to be a very competitive game.
Everyone at Bridge United would like to wish both squads all the best with their preparations for their return to competitive football.
