Bridge United B 4 Manus Celtic 1

Bridge Utd B took a step closer to achieving their goal of winning the Second Division Title tonight with a good win against promotion chasing Manus Celtic.

Two 1st half goals by Adrian Whyte helped settle the nerves but Bridge then  conceded a penalty which was saved by Barry Deasy but Manus scored from the rebound to leave it 2-1 at half time.

Bridge played a lot better in the second half and scored two goals through Gavin Downes and John Keogh to make the game safe.

The B Team now require 3 pts from remaining 3 games to secure the title and promotion to the 1st Division.
