Coole Celtic 1-2 Bridge Utd B

A bad start saw the visitors fall behind in the opening minute following a defensive mix up. The Bridge responded very well with a brilliantly worked goal by Kieran Quinlan who turned the Coole centre half inside out to slot it into the bottom right hand corner on 8mins.

 In very bad conditions both teams attacked but both defenses were resolute and it was all square at half time.

With the aid of a strong wind in the second half the Bridge dominated but couldn't find the breakthrough.

In the final stages Bridge had their drfense and goalkeeper Barry Deasy to prevent Coole from going ahead, but it was 15 year old super sub Jordan Downes who won it in injury time with a great finish.

A great performance which leaves the Bridge requiring 2 wins from final 4 games to secure the 2nd Division title.
