On 8th September last Bridge United hosted our very first Over 40s tournament which included two host teams, Bunratty Cratloe Fc Over 40s and a Shannon/Newmarket/Bridge combo to make up the final team.

A great day (and night) was had by all and we are delighted to confirm that all proceeds from the day have now been donated to a fantastic cause in Bunratty Search and Rescue.

This evening 29th October we finally caught up with some volunteers at Bunratty S&R at our clubhouse where we presented them with a cheque for €1,000!

Thanks to all who played their part in the tournament and helped in raising the funds. Special thanks to our guests in the day from Bunratty Cratloe FC and the few lads who togged from Shannon Hibs and Newmarket.

Look forward to seeing ye again next year hopefully!
