Bridge United A - 4
Bridge Celtic - 1
A Jay Whyte double secured all three points in this Premier League game played in poor conditions last Sunday morning.
The home side should have opened the scoring on 20 minutes when Whyte was put through on goal down the right, he unselfishly squared the ball to Ethan Slater whose shot was deflected wide by Diarmuid Aherne.
The opener came on 25 minutes when Whyte's corner was headed clear only for Whyte to volley the ball back towards goal and to the net.
On the brink of half time the home side doubled the lead when Derek Fahy's cross was turned home by Celtic defender Trevor Howard.
Bridge went 3 up on 50 minutes when Whyte's shot was dropped into the net by Celtics keeper.
Brian Corry made it 4 on 75 minutes coolly slotting home from 12 yards.
Diarmuid Aherne scored an impressive consolation on 90 minutes with a brilliant free kick from 20 yards.
