2nd Division League
Bridge United B - 2
Rineanna Rovers - 2
The home side were unlucky not to come away with all three points in this keenly contested second division league game played in good conditions in Sixmilebridge on Sunday afternoon.
United took a deserved lead on 20 minutes when Brandon O'Halloran rifled home from 25 yards, a lead they held comfortable until half time.
Rineanna responded straight after the break however when a free from the right was headed to the net by the visitors left full back.
The visitors dominated the opening 15 minutes of the 2nd period but failed to capitilise any further on this purple patch.
With 10 minutes remaining Donald Devanney put the home side back in front when he volleyed home a Gavin Downes corner to the net.
As the game approached 90 minutes Rineanna grabbed an equaliser and on the overall scheme of things it was deserved one, a share of the spoils an accurate reflection of the game.
