FAI Junior Cup Round 2
Ballingarry AFC - 3
Bridge United - 0
Bridge will look to a critical 10 minute period before half time as the cause for there exit from this years National Cup but on the overall scheme of play they failed to create enough clear cut chances to proceed to round 3.
Having dominated most of the possesion for the opening 35 minutes the visitors created very little in terms of clear chances in the final third. Having replaced the injured Mark Hayes on 10 minutes it was super sub Kevin Forde who scored a 10 minute hatrick to secure the Desmond league side would be in the hat for round 3.
The visitors pressed hard for a way back into the game in the 2nd half but unfortunately the damage was done in the first and Ballingarry defended resolutely to hold on for the win.
