Bridge Utd 4 - 0 Tulla Utd

Bridge Utd got back to winning ways with a comfortable 4 nil win against Tulla Utd on an evening fitting for football.

The host flew out of the traps and went one up inside 90secs when a fizzing Kieran Quinlan corner was nodded to the net by stand in skipper Terry Lenihan.

The home side doubled their advantage on 8mins when a sublime Trevor Maxwell cross was headed to the net by Mikey McNamara (pictured)

Goal number three arrived when substitute Mark Pewter expertly steered home an Eric Carr cross after some neat build up play down the right flank.

Three became four when Ethan Slater lifted the ball over the advancing Tulla goalkeeper from the pass of the game from Jason Loughnane.

In the dying minutes the diminutive Loughnane spun Darragh Corry inside the box before being bundled to the ground but the centre forward on his debut missed the resulting penalty.
