Both A & B teams have been handed away ties in this years Prego Menswear Clare Cup.

Bridge United B have been drawn away to Hermitage in a tie scheduled to take place on January 17th. Hermitage have been the busiest so far in the January transfer window adding former Avenue stalwarts Paddy Slattery and Mike O'Mahoney to their numbers so the Sixmilebridge outfit will need to be at their best to get a result in this first round fixture. The winners of this game will face Connolly Celtic away in the second round.

Bridge United A avoided the first round of games but will face a trip to Newmarket Celtic B. The Newmarket side filled with players with premier league experience will no doubt be a difficult fixture for the Premier League leaders who will have to make sure they are at their best to progress.
